Alexander is six months old. He even had a little surprise half-birthday celebration, complete with half a cake that his Wo Mama (grandma) and Uncle Joey baked for him.

He also got more gifts, in addition to the truckful he has accumulated since we arrived here. I think we'll need to charter a separate Boeing 747 just to get his stuff home.
Maybe he knows we're leaving soon. He's been fussy all day. Or it could be his teeth, or perhaps a bit of a sore tummy - he has been eating tons of Glop lately and we suspect that, like his daddy, he lacks the internal mechanism to tell him "You're full now. Stop eating."
Anyway, six months ago we had no idea he would be so cute and this much fun. Actually, six months ago we simply had No Idea. Period. Six months ago we knew we were on the edge of a very steep slope - I couldn't tell you if it was the bottom or the top, but at least we were mostly in charge of things.
Now, it's pretty clear who's the boss around here.

Oh well. We love him anyway.
