We realised the other day that we've been in a holding pattern since Sleep School. Alexander's needs have moved on a bit, but we were so glad to have a manageable baby that we didn't think about changing what was now working. Alex himself has pushed us in the right direction occasionally - he likes to stay up longer in the afternoon and evenings, for instance, and will go longer without food before getting hungry - but we really hadn't thought much about how we should be changing and adapting his care as he grows.
The other day, Lisa rang Sleep School and found out that Alex should be doing a few things differently now - sleeping through the night (we wish!), breast feeding less often (sort of figured that one out), and trying out lots of different kinds of finger food (oops).
So today, he discovered toast with Vegemite.

Now, for all you Americans who can't stomach Vegemite, this is proof that even a baby can eat the stuff. Next up, nachos with hot salsa!
Okay, I made that bit up about the nachos.
Okay, okay, and the salsa.
