Alex got expelled from family day care!
The carer assured us last week that he would be fine, that she could handle an infant along with her other kids... she has had two babies in her charge before, no problem, yadda yadda yadda.
Then yesterday, after 6 hours of caring for him, she decides that he needs too much attention, that it's too hard! This after she assured us that an infant would cry the whole time for the first couple of days until he got used to it!
Not happy Jan. We complained to the council about the carer. She shouldn't have committed to taking Alex unless she was really prepared for it.
We know he can be difficult but he's not really a troublemaker! (Okay sometimes he makes trouble. Di says "like father like son" to which I reply: bleah!)
The good news is that the Family Day Care office (run by the local council) is displeased with that carer's behaviour and has pulled some strings to find us a new carer already! So hopefully we will meet her next week.
